It is 4am and you are reading reviews
The baby is finally down. You have maybe forty minutes. And instead of sleeping you are on your phone, third page of results, comparing two changing mats that look identical, because one of them is apparently full of something you should not put a baby on and you cannot work out which.
Every parent we have spoken to has some version of this story. The bag packed wrong for the first outing. The bottle that leaked into everything. The muslin that turned out to be the scratchy kind. Small failures, none of them serious, all of them landing on someone who has not slept properly in eleven weeks.
That is the problem Baby Cocoon was built around. Not the love, which nobody needs help with. The logistics.
Small on purpose
Most baby shops sell you choice. Forty changing mats, sixty swaddles, an infinite scroll designed to keep you looking. That is a good business model and a terrible experience for someone with forty minutes and one hand free.
So we did the opposite. A handful of pieces per stage. Each one has to survive a question we ask out loud before it goes on the site: would we put this in the bag on a bad morning?
That question rules out a lot, starting with anything sold on fear rather than usefulness. What survives is what you see here, with materials, care and safety notes on each product page.
The things that go wrong, and what we do about them
- The surprise customs bill. Our shipping policy tells you up front when import fees may apply, so you know before you order.
- The parcel you cannot track. Every order ships tracked from our EU warehouse, with the link emailed as soon as it leaves. Delivery usually takes 6–12 working days.
- The thing that turns out wrong. Thirty days to send it back for a full refund, on top of the fourteen-day right of withdrawal you already have by law.
- The email that goes nowhere. A real person answers, usually within one working day.
- Hype you cannot trust. No made-up reviews and no fake countdowns, just the details you need to decide.

If something we sent you is not right, write to us. That is not a formality. It is the whole point.
